Starting out as a backend developer and RETS * data specialist, I have since grown into a comprehensive Full-Stack Developer working directly for CEO Steve Pollack at Smsold.com in Irvine, California. Over the years, I engineered custom RETS data pipelines that pull critical MLS data feeds from servers directly into the proprietary database, maintaining a strict 15-minute interval update cycle alongside rigorous database record maintenance. To support this massive data scale—where individual records can carry up to 300 data fields—I built a high-capacity folder storage architecture for over a million property photos. By continuously adhering to RETS standards and best practices, I have successfully troubleshot and resolved all data-related issues across Smsold.com's network of over 100 real estate developer and broker websites, while authoring the core data integration code that powers every single platform in the ecosystem.
Building upon that robust backend foundation, my technical scope expanded to developing complete websites for the company's gallery and its clientele, executing feature updates and layout modifications for approximately 40% of all platform properties. Utilizing CakePHP, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and MySQL, I developed one of the fastest MLS search mechanisms in the industry, establishing deep expertise in advanced search algorithms and query optimization. Furthermore, I spearheaded custom frontend JavaScript implementations—including Google Maps APIs and cutting-edge interactive property search scripts on par with industry leaders like Zillow and Redfin—delivering a seamless, lightning-fast user experience across the board.
My week-to-week contributions encompass deep handling of complex MLS and RETS data feeds, structuring normalized MySQL database schemas, and building out robust application logic using CakePHP. Have created optimized backend queries with Mysql explain keyword to handle massive data integrations also have contributed to keeping the platform scaling cleanly, reliably, and efficiently over a decade of continuous growth, and have even contributed to the code for the SOLD 5 backend' smsold's flagship backend software specifically for real estate developers and brokers.

Bone Daddyz Music Lounge
Designed and engineered a complete digital platform for Bone Daddyz Music Lounge, a premier local music venue dedicated to live original music. As the sole full-stack developer, I built the entire application architecture from the ground up utilizing PHP and MySQL to manage events, ticket inventory, and patron data securely. I designed the database and the complete website code which was utlizing a payment gateway credit and debit card processor and also set everything up. This was for owner of said club: Timm Saxton (none other than bonedaddy himself). I also built a slick admin page so they could track qr code ticket sales, get info on customers, some reporting, etc.
A core highlight of the platform is the custom-built e-commerce and payment pipeline integrating Authorize.Net and Start Merchant Services. I created the transaction processing code, including robust backend webhook listeners for real-time payment status updates, error handling, and automated fulfillment. Additionally, I engineered a custom dynamic QR code generation engine that issues unique digital tickets for live shows, enabling instant verification and scanning at the venue entrance. Also, emailing system for customers who lost their ticket, etc. This whole system was running perfectly for 4 months with sales up to and well over 1000 a day. However, after this time, the merchant services got too greedy and started making up ridiculous fees and trying to take advantage of us and was ending up being over 6 percent per transaction charges and fees, so was decided to remove online pre-show sales. However, this was enough time for me to perfect the system and also to learn how Authorize.net platform, and also how to talk to and deal with the people at the merchant services so this was a real processor experience, not stripe or paypal integration.
Jeff Hamilton Art
Developed a specialized digital art showcase and portfolio platform for renowned watercolor artist Jeff Hamilton Art. The application features high-resolution artwork galleries, responsive media layouts, and seamless navigation designed to highlight intricate watercolor textures and compositions. Threejs effects on the gallery images are utilized. Also utilizing a paypal payment gateway for processing of payments,etc and a cool admin page/ secure section for owner to update photos, make changes to almost every area of the artwork-detail page like comments, price, naming and photos.
Stop CSLB
Engineered and deployed the web platform for Stop CSLB (stopcslb.org). Built using robust PHP and MySQL backend architecture, the platform serves as a specialized information and resource hub providing streamlined data organization, document archiving, and structured communication tools.
